NC GOP US Senate Primary Debate
Last Thursday, November 21, the Gaston Tea Party hosted the first of what is sure to be a series of debates across the Tarheel State featuring the GOP candidates for US Senate. With a May, 2014 Primary looming, time is short to build a coalition of support that will be able to defeat incumbent Democrat Kay Hagan.
Four out of the five announced candidates participated in this debate. Among them Dr. Greg Brannon, Bill Flynn, Heather Grant, and Mark Harris. Candidate Thom Tillis was in Charlotte earlier that afternoon fundraising with Karl Rove and turned down the invitation to participate in the debate.
Here is the full, unedited evening of questions and answers.

Looks like Thom is going to be the Republican candidate for US Senator for the state. The only question that remains is will the fringe hold their noses and vote for him in November or stay home?
If Thom Tillis is the nominee, then nothing in Washington will change. Thom is very self serving and will look for the retirement and monetary fringe benefits which come with the office.
I notice Kay hagan is worried. She has the vote for me or face Mercury poisoning scare ads out already.
