MUMPO Jumbo: Video from Last Night’s Debacle
Many thanks to Chuck Suter of Constitutionalwar.org for attending and filming the MUMPO meeting last night where public commentary was cancelled after Kurt Naas, the spokesman for the WidenI77.org group, attempted to clarify that the 10 minutes his group was allocated shouldn’t take the place of the others who were in attendance and signed up to speak. It was a shameful display of abuse of power on Chairwoman McAulay’s account. After ignoring the previous speakers while playing on his iPad, David Howard, Charlotte City Councilmember, had the gall to ask for security and then suggest “This is not respectful to the process at all”. No sir, you weren’t respectful to the process at all.
Thanks, Chuck for taping this. No other news agency covered it from the beginning. Sarah McAulay may look like a sweet grandmother, but in reality she is an Agenda 21-loving leftist who makes Garfield look giddy.
And there you have the brutal truth of Char-Meck politics and the total breakdown of the rule of law. If outsiders challenge what the insider want to do, you are threatened with arrest.
You will pay higher property taxes, you will pay a full-cent sales tax for transit, and you will pay tolls. And you will like it. Or else.
