Reaction to Casey Anthony Verdict
Through all it’s twists and turns, the three year old trial of Casey Anthony finally came to an end yesterday with a verdict that many consider shocking. Anthony was found guilty on four counts of lying to investigators, but not of killing Caylee Anthony, her two year old daughter. While this case didn’t involve a high profile defendant (ala the OJ Simpson Trial) it did involve an innocent child and has been watched intently throughout its duration. Reaction by fans of PunditHouse has thusfar been in line with the American public.

When Will Justice Be Served?On August 9, 2005 a precious, beautiful baby girl, Caylee Marie, was born into the Anthony Family. But less than three years later, on June 16, 2008, Caylee, a blameless child was found dead. For the past three years the world has been looking for answers. Sadly, even though the trial is over, we still have none.
After staying tuned and reading all of the facts and evidence from the case, the world, and I, assumed that Caylee Anthony was murdered by her mother. Casey Anthony has been on trial for the past three years and today, July 5, 2011, she was pronounced, not guilty. The world was astonished at this verdict. Millions watched this agonizing trial play out and no one predicted this outcome. Today the world cried out for justice, and justice was not served.
Caylee Anthony has been silenced forever, by someone who felt her life was insignificant. Though justice may never be served in this world, we can be confident that, whoever murdered this innocent child will stand in front of God on judgment day.
Nothing good can ever come from this trial, because either way, an innocent child is dead. The only hope and happiness we can have is the knowledge that Caylee Marie is resting peacefully with her Almighty Creator.

Ridiculous. How many little babies do we pass every day in the grocery store as their mothers snap at them, slap them, never bothering to notice or care about their sad eyes and runny noses. But because a pretty, promiscuous white woman (seemed) to have killed her loved and well-cared for child and then partied for 31 days afterwards…we are all up in arms. Easy to be concerned about a baby we’ll never have to step in and help. The fact is, the prosecution never proved how when or where the baby died. As conservatives we should be rejoicing that a person (usavory though she may be) was unable to be convicted on purely emotional,barely circumstantial evidence.
I liked Rush’s response – the media wouldn’t have cared if Caylee was killed in the womb but are besides themselves over this verdict.
The same media that freaks out over KSM being “tortured” were cheering on a “slam dunk” guilty verdict and death sentence for Casey.
Caylee won’t receive justice – but, the big losers in this case (once again), were the Lame Stream Media.
Most ironic post-verdict tweet: WHAT!!!!???!!!! CASEY ANTHONY FOUND NOT GUILTY!!!! I am speechless!!!
That would be from Kim Kardashian, whose father was a member of the defense team that helped O.J. skate.
Go figure.
