The ACA: Cost of Compliance

Sep 19, 2013   //   by Christian Hine   //   Carolinas, Christian Hine, National  //  8 Comments

This past Tuesday, the John Locke Foundation held a luncheon in Charlotte which focused on Obamacare.

The headlining speaker was Sharon Kasica.  Her presetation entitled “The Affordable Healthcare Act: The Cost of Compliance” uses the governments own publicly available numbers to show exactly what American citizens and industry are in for over the coming years, barring a Congressional miracle to delay and defund.

Here is the presentation in it’s entirety.  I recommend watching the full size HD version so that the slides can be more easily read.

  • The cost of non-compliance is far greater. It’s time for these company’s to stop shifting costs they should be paying to the taxpayer while they walk away with record profits and hire tax lawyers to keep from paying their share.

    • You used to be amusing and somewhat engaging. Now you’re just turning into a troll.

      • Do I get my “I told you so” award yet?

      • I can assure you it has never been my intent to amuse you.

        • that’s what makes you so amusing Zon. You can’t figure out that folks are laughing at you and not with you.

          • I consider it entertainment that a mentally deranged bigot like yourself would be laughing at me, Rick.

          • Zon, in bigotry you rate as higher than most.
            Bigot: : a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices;

            Merriam Webster. Read it and see yourself.

    • Not to mentio all the bureaucrats from the Obama Administration’s first term moving into big paying jobs in the ‘private’ sector to administer the ACA compliance for the crony capialists who wrote it.
