It’s crunch time folks!
The election season is rapidly approaching its final full month before “the big day”. How have you been helping your candidates of choice?
Meetings are certainly a fun time to socialize and network, but there is a lot of work to do to ensure that good candidates get elected!
Never underestimate your ability to make a difference. We live in a world where elections can be decided by a handful of votes. At all costs, don’t leave any on the table. It is your duty to make sure your friends and family make it to the polls.

Monday, September 24 – CAUTION
Join CAUTION this afternoon at the Dilworth Neighborhood Grille from 6 to 7:30PM as we discuss some options for involvement, as well as take your suggestions for getting out the vote.
Remember, one stop early voting begins Thursday, October 18! We’ll also have a recap of this past weekends big tea party rally in Jomeokee.
Tuesday, September 25 – Mecklenburg Young Republicans
The Mecklenburg County Young Republicans will host its monthly meeting at Dilworth Neighborhood Grill beginning at 6:30pm. This month the group will have Senator-Elect Jeff Tarte and Representative Bill Brawley of the North Carolina Legislature as their keynote speakers. For more information, visit HERE.
Wednesday, September 26 – Marco Rubio and Team NC in Charlotte

Wednesday, September 26 – Charlotte Mecklenburg Republican Woman’s Club
The CMRW meets from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Maggianos Italian Restaurant – SouthPark Mall (includes family style lunch: all you can eat).
Thursday, September 27 – South Meck Republican Club
Our guest for this month’s Southern Mecklenburg Republican Club meeting is the Speaker of the NC House Thom Tillis. We meet at 6:30 pm for fellowship with the meeting from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. Meeting will be held at LongHorn Steakhouse.

Friday, September 28 – Civitas Poll Luncheon, Charlotte
Please join the Civitas Institute at 11:30am on September 28 in Charlotte for our monthly poll presentation. Our polling examines voter opinion on the most significant and current issues such as government spending, state debt, health care, energy, social policy, election reform, and much more. Additionally, we measure approval ratings for national and state leaders, allowing attendees to gauge voter sentiment on elected officials. To RSVP, click HERE.
